Taekwondo
Taekwondo - The Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do was established by Mark Farnham in 1987. Since then we have been teaching and training the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. Designed to be an effective self defence system, Tae Kwon-Do can be practised by men, women and children of all ages. Our Schools offer the best in Tae Kwon-Do, offering general classes as well as the opportunity to take part in Gradings (belt promotions) and competitions. We can provide all the equipment required to carry out your Tae Kwon-Do training. We have 14 Schools across East Anglia. Many students choose to train at two or more of our Schools, and we find that this is very beneficial for those looking to learn and improve at a faster rate or just for convenience of proximity to work and home.

The King's Church

Sundays: 10:00am-11:30am

We've been meeting in the Queen Mary Centre for around 30 years. Our vision is: 'That we may present everyone mature in Christ' Colossians 1:28.

We aim to do this by:

  • Loving Jesus
  • Building Relationships
  • Serving our Community

These form the three main pillars of our vision and are all important parts in helping us as individuals and collectively as a church to become mature in Christ. We meet every Sunday at 10:00am for our Sunday Celebration which includes King's Kids (a meeting for those children in Primary School). All are welcome to come and join us.

Wisbech Osteopathic Clinic

Mon - Fri (bookings only)

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints. It is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together.

Osteopaths use physical manipulation, stretching and massage with the aim of:

  • increasing the mobility of joints
  • relieving muscle tension
  • reducing pain
  • enhancing the blood supply to tissues
  • helping the body to heal

They use a range of techniques, but not medicines or surgery.

The Wisbech Osteopathy Clinic is run by Mr Luc Woods who is a Registered Osteopath and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and is located in the Queen Mary Centre and is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment only.

Prices

Initial appointment £65. This includes assessment and treatment. Please allow 45 minutes.

Follow-up appointment £55. Please allow 30 minutes.

Payment is by cash, cheque, card or internet banking.

SWAP don't SHOP

Fridays: 14:00 - 17:00

Swap don't Shop is a community market with a difference.

Here you can swap things or time in exchange for other things we have on offer.

Our Cafe is also open.

How It Works

Come down and visit the Swap don't Shop community market in the Queen Mary Centre every Friday from 2pm - 5pm. It is free to enter and everyone's welcome. Every visit to the Swap don't Shop can be exchanged for something from the 'free cycle' community market stall. Every week we offer a chance for you to help us with the sorting and categorising of donated goods. You can get involved as muc or as little as you want to.

  • You can swap your time for something you want or need
  • You can swap a donation of a good quality item for something you want or need
  • You can run your own stall and invite your own customers

Swap Don’t Shop community market and freecycle event is hosted by the QMC and the Ferry Project and is funded by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
